Tweetaholics, the Butler did it, and not enough Rice

Won a Jeep hat from the official Jeep Twitter account today for this picture of Layla, my ZJ Grand Cherokee atop Freedom Falls in the Pa Wilds:

Just a reminder to everyone that I am rocking a Twitter account... probably the best way to keep track of my updates on the blog and follow my madness as it happens considering I've become addicted to tweeting. Follow me!!

Expect some updates the next few days from a few little adventures I had at or around Nemacolin the past few months... some Jeep and canoe fun at the least! On a related note, don't expect any updates over the holiday weekend as I will be headed back to Nemacolin to work. Hey, someone's gotta facilitate adventures for rich newbs, right?

Following next week will be some Pittsburgh related adventures and such in honor of my return to the Steel City.

Reminder that time is winding down on this year's edition of the Most Amazing Race. If you're unfamiliar, its a version of CBS's reality show by the same name packed into one weekend in the greatest city on earth: Pittsburgh! It's charity race that helps raise funds for the Salvation Army, and competing teams need sponsors. Gunz and I will be competing under the Team Crash moniker again on September 25th and we still need lots of sponsors! Please help a great cause and a great adventure by donating to our team!

An even larger contingent of Team Crash will also be competing in the Warren Great Race on September 18th when Gunz and I are joined by Sparky and Bilo to show the Pa Wilds what's up. More to come on that soon enough when I re-establish the entire "Events" section of the website. Stayyyyy tuuuuuuned.

Back to the books... see ya soon!

Tally-ho!

Welcome!

This blog focuses on the travels of Captain Crash, a Pittsburgh native and outdoor guide with a knack for adventure. With a few sidekicks and two great Jeeps, Crash finds incredibly unique and scenic areas throughout Western Pa, WV, NY, OH, MD, and beyond. The adventures are typically off the beaten path to places almost completely unheard of today and often involve camping, offroading, ATVing, paddling, biking, hiking, backpacking, climbing, urban exploring, rappelling, cliff jumping, ghost hunting, urban legends and more.
